Grace Lichtenwald’s GSD Gemma is expecting puppies, 9 to 11.  Her due date is May 18th.


Nancy Reid’s Rough Collie New Rivers Southern Connection at Keowee whelped eight puppies, 6 Tricolors and 2 Sables.


Vicki Baker’s two Portuguese Water Dogs Crew and Zoey earned their RACH (Rally Championships) at the Greater Columbia Obedience Club in West Columbia, SC.


Michelle Jones won BOB at Westminster with her Pomeranian “Watson.”  He also won three Group 1s and a Best in Show elsewhere in April.  MBIS MRBIS, MBISS GCHG Mountain Crest My Boy Watson.


Lynne O’Hara’s 5 month old Airedale puppy Georgia earned her Trick Dog Novice (TKN) title.

  1. I have female rat terrier, she doesn’t have papers, I’d like to learn more about how to proceed in getting her papers and would like to have at least one litter from her.

    1. A full breeding registration such as you speak of is usually provided by the dog’s breeder (if she so-chooses). You need to contact your girl’s breeder first, and ask for her help getting her registered. If that is impossible, then maybe if you have your girl’s pedigree showing that both of her parents are registered, there may be some backup process you can pursue. But I’m just speculating about that, and I don’t know how it would work. Registering dogs is primarily the prerogative of the breeder.
